A5 Custom Made Thermofax Screen

The price with frame is £17, without it is £15.  Please see options below.

Please be aware that the size of screen is a little off A5.  A5 size designs normally fit into the plastic screen that your design will be in please take note: The plastic screen (SIZE OF INTERNAL SCREEN: The area where your design sits) is  12cm x 20.5cm  leaving a border size 1.5cm between the design and edge.

• Thermofax screen in a plastic frame (if you choose this option below) with your custom design

What type of designs will I screen for you?

Anything which is legal, personal designs,  copyright free images from the public domain

Sizes given are actual print area inclusive of an approx 10mm border

Remember: a frame can be used 100+ times if you take care of it, this means that the possibilities are endless with how you choose to use it.   Guidelines on caring for your screen which will arrive with your screen.

Guidelines for submitting an image/design.

• use copyright free images/designs


• jpg file saved at 300 dpi if its low res the image will be blurry and the screen won’t be clear


• I will print a carbon image of your design.


• Grey or shaded areas do not burn well,  a high contrast design is best. Large areas of black in your design can cause problems and do not produce clear burns in the mesh.  Please be aware of this when creating your designs.


• The key is to make sure that you have good clean artwork and that there are no unwanted marks or blemishes on your image, which then transfer to the carbon copy and be replicated on burning the screen.  Make sure the only thing on the submitted jpg  is what you want replicated on your screen. I accept designs as is and if I feel it’s not going to work, I will email you rather than burn a screen that you won’t be able to use or which will have erorrs.


• I do not edit your images.  This service is available for a fee.  If you require more information on prices,  please email me and I shall set up a product listing for my set price.


• I do not screen print/ test your screen once it has been burned.


• Lined images work best, large areas of black can cause irregular images in the screen once burnt and when screening can leave marks on screening and be patchy and uneven.


• Posterize your  image, turning the image black and white (see below)  and save as a jpg


• crop your image to remove any unnecessary portions of the artwork.


• I will not burn image of poor quality to screen.  if you send through a design which is unsuitable you will receive an email asking you to resubmit, so it makes sense to submit a perfect design/artwork to save time.


• Before attaching your image to send to me, please print your image to see if it is the required size as i don’t resize images.  This lets you see if the design is clear not blurry and also if it is the correct size for the frame you will pay for.


• Include your name,  the image size
